Black Bear Cove RV Park
is located on the
banks of the beautiful scenic Hiwassee River,
in a secluded valley adjacent to US Highway
411 and is open year-round.
|
|
The rv park consists of 41 beautiful sites with views of the
Chilhowee and Starr Mountains as well as the Gee Creek Wilderness Area.
Guests can
fish the Hiwassee River from the campground property or take a walk through the beautiful
50 acre Black Bear Cove grounds. |

All sites have full hookups with 20, 30 or 50 amp electric service. Each site
has water, sewer (The sewer is a State of Tennessee approved system), electric and
cable hook-ups. Guests may check their e-mail on one of the courtesy computers located
in the camp ground store, or use a courtesy phone to make a call (all long distance
calls require a calling card or credit card).
WiFi is available in the campground.

The main campground building overlooks the meadow and
includes ladies and men’s bathroom facilities with showers, a laundry, registration/check-in
and a camp store
which are heated and cooled year round for guest comfort. Guests may relax on the spacious porch or check out the
news and weather by our fireplace store.

The main building and
baths are constructed from logs and timbers. Cathedral ceilings adorn the entire
building including the bath facilities. All wood is beautifully finished and complemented
with tile floors and showers, granite counter tops, and beautiful lighting. The laundry
contains two washers and dryers and ironing facilities. Spacious countertop space
is available for sorting and folding.

The campground store offers a selection of snacks and drinks, some food items, basic
camping supplies, ice and firewood.
|
|
A pavilion and playground as well as volley ball and horseshoes are also available to guests.
